Hi! My name is Tex and I am the brains behind this operation. Here’s a little about me:

I’m 39, 40 41 and I’ve loved pigs ever since I was a little critter. I’ve owned a pig, showed a pig, and have quite a collection of pig memorabilia and I don’t think I’m alone in this! So I decided to start this Pig Lover’s Blog as an outlet for my pig love, and to create a place for other pig lovers around the world (like you) to get their swine on.

There’s a surprisingly large volume of pig related news, information, products and pics, videos and fun stories out there, so I don’t think there will be a problem coming up with new and entertaining content.

Side note: If you are a lover of pork this is not the blog for you. This blog is dedicated to the vibrant LIFE of pigs. I’m sure there are plenty of blogs elsewhere for all you bacon lovers. Just not here. Well, with one exception: At some point I may address pig farming, specifically those working to ensure that ethical farming practices are utilized. While I do not eat pork myself, I understand that this ‘other white meat’ is quite popular. Finding humane farming solutions and fighting animal abuse are issues I believe strongly in.
